Dual Membership Release (DMR) Program
Our Chapter is excited to join with SHRM National on the Dual Membership Release (DMR) program.
This program enables us to jointly sell and renew our Chapter membership along with SHRM’s membership in one transaction with one profile – all of this will be handled by SHRM’s robust systems.
Chapter members will no longer pay separate Chapter membership dues directly to the Chapter but will instead renew their Chapter membership at the same time that they renew their SHRM membership.
AHRM Regular Membership
Regular membership is available to those persons engaged in the practice of Human Resource Management, faculty members of accredited colleges and universities, or those persons who own or are employed by a consulting firm, employment agency, temporary staffing firm, vendor, professional employer organization (sales), and others who have a bona fide connection with Human Resource Management and the purpose of AHRM.
The cost for a Regular Member is $75.00 annually and includes access to our monthly newsletter and membership directory, members-only social and networking events, reduced pricing on chapter meetings, and so much more! Membership duration is on a rolling calendar year basis.
Price: $75.00 annually
Meeting and event registration fees are not included in your membership fee.
NOTE: Chapter membership expires at the same time as your current SHRM membership, regardless of
enrollment date. Any applicable Chapter dues will be prorated based on the months remaining on your
current SHRM membership.
*This Chapter is a 100% membership chapter, which means you must also be a member of the national
SHRM organization (www.shrm.org)
AHRM Student Membership
Student membership is available to any part or full-time student engaged in the study and/or development of Human Resources in the Greater Grand Rapids area. The student must be currently attending an accredited college or university. Student Members cannot be employed on a full-time basis in the HR field, and may vote or hold office within the Student Chapter. Student Members must have an active SHRM Student Membership to join AHRM at no cost. There is no annual AHRM membership fee for Student Members. Student Members pay only $10.00 to attend the regular breakfast or lunch meetings. This fee covers a portion of the meal cost.
Membership duration is on a rolling calendar year basis.

GRJC Dual Membership
The Grand Rapids Junior Chamber Dual Membership is available to any part or full-time GRJC Member in the Greater Grand Rapids area. The member must be an active member of the Junior Chamber to receive the discounted AHRM rate. To sign up to receive the GRJC Dual Membership rate, you must supply the member code you received after you signed up with the Junior Chamber on your application, your application will be pending until AHRM can confirm your membership.
Membership duration is on a rolling calendar year basis.
Price: $37.50
